Apply now: DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research 2023

Scientists conducting research in Germany can apply until 15 August 2023.

The German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) is again offering the DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research. Scientists can apply to the DZIF Academy until 15 August 2023. A prize of 5,000 euros will be awarded for scientifically outstanding achievements in the field of translational infection research.

The application is open to all scientists working in Germany who have significantly contributed to a research area of infection research; project work at the DZIF is not a prerequisite. Candidates can apply directly to the DZIF Academy or be nominated by a mentor.

The following materials are required for application:

  • One-page description of the candidate’s research focus and key achievements in translational infection research (one DIN A4 page)
  • A curriculum vitae including previous prizes and awards
  • Five key publications
  • Complete list of publications
  • Two letters of recommendation
