DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research

The DZIF Academy is pleased to open the call for application for the second DZIF Prize for Translational Infection Research. DZIF will award a prize of 5.000 Euro for exceptional translational infection research. Candidates who significantly contributed to infection research in Germany can either be nominated by their mentors or apply directly to the DZIF Academy.

The call for application is open to all infection researchers in Germany and is not restricted to applicants from DZIF partner sites.  Application Deadline: September 25, 2015, 5 pm

The following materials are required for application:

•     One-page description of candidate’s research focus and key achievements in translational infection research
•     Candidate’s CV including prizes and honors
•     Five key publications
•     Complete list of publications
•     Two letters of recommendation

The prize will be awarded during the DGI/DZIF Annual Meeting in Munich, November 19-21, 2015, where the recipient/s will have a chance to present their research.
