10th Summer School on Variome

The HZI Graduate School in cooperation with the DZIF Academy is organizing a Summer School on the topic: “Variome – phenotypic and functional variation of host and pathogens and their impact on infectious diseases” from June 10 – 13, 2024.

It is an excellent opportunity to learn as much as possible about phenotypic and functional variations of host and pathogens and their role in infectious diseases and on human health. Renowned national and international speakers will present their major findings in individual sessions ranging from genetics over epigenetics to the microbial genome to anti-infective concepts and the impact of climate change in emerging infections. In addition, participants have the opportunity to discuss their work by an oral presentation or within a poster session with the invited speakers and your colleagues and to intensify and strengthen your networks.
