LCI symposium 2020 "Future strategies to overcome antimicrobial resistance"
The two-day symposium of the Leibniz Center for Infection Research (LCI) focuses on strategies for overcoming antibiotic resistance. In a specific DZIF session, DZIF researchers will present their alternative strategies to combat resistance. In times of widespread infections with multi-resistant pathogens, this meeting will bring together experts from the US, Switzerland, Germany and of course the participating DZIF scientists to discuss new perspectives such as host molecule targeting, phage therapy, personalized interventions or vector control.
Registration is free of charge. Interested persons can register for the symposium until 10 January 2020. The conference venue is the Historic Lecture Hall of the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine.
