Systematic Reviews—An Introduction
The infrastructure Bioresources, Biodata and Digital Health (BBD) will host the online workshop "Systematic Reviews—An Introduction" on December 15th and 16th, 2022.
Open for DZIF scientists of all fields of research this introductory workshop will provide first steps in systematic literature search and evidence synthesis.
Prefaced with a keynote on evidence synthesis in times of pandemics the following topics will be covered:
Day 1 - Introduction to literature research (overview on literature databases, development of search strategies, evaluation and documentation of search results)
Day 2 - Systematic reviews (relevance of literature reviews, study designs, bias, meta-analyses, heterogeneity, subgroup and sensitivity analyses, interpretation of results, implementation quality)
Agenda and weblinks for online participation will be sent via e-mail following the registration period. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 30. Registration deadline was December 5th, 2022. Please note that the default course language is German. On demand the course can also be held in English.
