Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi)
The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), founded in 2003, develops new treatments for neglected diseases and promotes research & development in this field through product development partnerships between private industry, academia and the public sector.
Together with DNDi, DZIF researchers are working on the Nucleoside Booster Project to identify chemical compounds that have a broad antiviral spectrum of activity. The aim of the cooperation is to be better prepared for future virus outbreaks.
