On 10.06.2021 we are welcoming Thomas Schwarz-Romond, Director of operations, Helmholtz Pioneer Campus, with the talk: "Searching for the 'red line' in a career"
Thomas is an internationally trained and published molecular biologists with 14 years wet-lab experience in 3 European countries. Nine years as professional editor at The EMBO Journal provided Thomas with a broad and global perspective on the life-science enterprise. He complemented his scientific experience with a business degree (MBA) and two years in a corporate executive position. In 2017, Thomas accepted the opportunity to co-found and co-direct the Helmholtz Pioneer Campus @Helmholtz Munich, a position that uniquely combines scientific and managerial skills.
